Argument Before the house stand two men and the woman who keeps its threshold. 0 and 1 have wandered into the day, as men do, restless in the light — but 3 holds the doorway, keeper of the interior, watching them go and calling them back. Send a figure through the door and they cross into shade, gone from the day. Call them back and they emerge, linger a moment in the light, and settle again at their place outside.
